Annual plant
Fruits: The large or medium-sized fruits of the Malinowy Ożarowski tomato are distinguished by the red-blackberry colour of the skin and flesh. They are smooth, shiny and very tasty.
Date of harvest: July.
Shape: Malinowy Ożarowski tomato plants are quite tall. They are suitable for growing in the ground, but it is necessary to plant them with stakes - they have loose stems.
Cold hardiness: the Ożarowski tomato is not very resistant to low temperatures - the plant's growth stops when the temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius and it becomes more susceptible to diseases. Both seedlings and young plants and adults are exposed to cold infestation.
Location: Tomatoes are grown from seedlings, which are placed in a position that receives plenty of sunlight and is warm enough - this is especially important in our climate, as the plants need heat to mature. The best soil for growing will be humus and fairly permeable, as deep and light as possible - so that they can develop an extensive root system. The substrate should be neutral or slightly acidic.
Spacing: 60x40 cm
